Welcome to the Youth Ministry web-page! My name is Ty Dripps and I am the Youth Director here at Covina Evangelical Free Church (CEFC). The purpose of this section of the web-page is for you to have quick access to important information about our program and forms you may need. Now I would like to describe the programs we have and why they exist.

The goal of this ministry is to help the youth of our community and church draw closer to Jesus Christ. Every person is in a different place in their search for God and we desire to meet them where they are and help them get closer to the One who can save them from their sin and heal their lives. We hope to do this through God’s help and using certain tools. Each tool is a program designed, and constantly open to redesign, in order to meet specific people wherever they are in the process of having a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. These programs are our Mid-Week Programs, Sunday School, Small Groups and the Student Leadership Team.

Since each person is in a different place spiritually, we must try to meet different needs with a variety of programs. For some youth today, there is just a need for honest answers to tough questions and issues. Small Groups are a great forum for this need. Other youth simply need to put their faith into action on the Student Leadership Team. Another person may just need to learn more about their faith and be challenged. That is the main purpose of Sunday School. Then, there is always a need for a safe environment where a person can be introduced to the essentials of the Christian faith. Our Mid-Week Programs serve this purpose.
