We joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in 1992. YWAM (founded in 1960) is an international non-denominational organization with about 12,000 full time staff around the world. YWAM's motto is “To know God and make Him known.” YWAM is involved in evangelism, training, and mercy ministry. You can learn more about YWAM at www.ywam.org.

We were with YWAM Hong Kong from then until June 1999 when we moved to Brisbane, Australia In Brisbane we are working with a ministry of YWAM called Impact Would Tour (IWT). IWT works with churches in towns and cities to put on evangelism campaigns. In 1999 IWT did 3 night campaigns in 3 towns in Australia. Over 3,000 attended the events and there were 3,077 recorded decisions for Christ. In the 9 months before the campaigns we work with churches to prepare for the events and the follow up of those who come to Christ.

IWT gets out in the public arena to proclaim the Gospel in an uncompromising, but relevant way. The call for people to repent from their sin, pick up their cross and follow Jesus Christ is shared through teams that include athletes, strongmen, BMX bikers, roller bladers and boarders, dancers, as well as a team that does Pacific Island dance and a cultural presentation of the Good (best) News. We use large video screens as well as being on stage. When the invitation is given for people to come forward to make a decision for Christ, many literally run foward.

We are currently working on a campaign in the city of Brisbane (population of 1.5 million).

Brian is the administrator in the National Office. This year he is taking on the role of City Coordinator for the Brisbane campaign. This involves lots of meetings with pastor, church Boards, and (of course) committee meetings. There are also presentations are churches to do for sharing the vision of reaching the city with the Gospel, recruiting commitee members, and fund raising.

Anna’s heart and driving passion is prayer and evangelism. She loves to join others in street witnessing or even going door to door. She intercedes for neighbors, the city, the country, and the world. Administration is not her thing (admin is a large part of IWT), but she is there daily to help wherever she can and especially to pray. This on top of being a mom with 3 children.
